My experience with Mr Lambert was one of complete trust , I felt I was in the very best hands and my subsequent recovery has proven this. Mr Lamberts personal style is not only reassuring , I also felt listened to and nothing was to much trouble to him. A. very approachable man, I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone with a similar problem to mine. Stephanie Mr Lamberts secretary is always available, very helpful and very kind.

I first met Mr Lambert on my 13th Birthday. I'm now 26 and can safely say he remains one of my favorite people of all time. Even from when I was very young, he always treated me with only the utmost respect and kindness. He would direct all his questions and comments to me as the patient, whilst making sure that my parents felt completely happy with everything. The procedures he performed (a bilateral scapula fusion) have improved my life immeasurably and have left only the smallest, neatest and down right best looking scars possible. He is also always ready with a kind word and laughs a lot too. As I've grown up I've realized that not many people look forward to seeing their surgeon, Mr Lambert is a special exception. If you have been placed under his care you have no need to worry - you really are in the best hands!!

After several years of constant shoulder pain 24/7 I was referred to Mr Lambert. From the moment I meet Mr Lambert he made me feel at ease and that he could carry out shoulder replacement surgery to elevate the pain and improve strength and movement in the shoulder. I had complete trust in Mr Lambert as he explained the procedure and was soon seen at the Spire Bushey Hospital. Everything went exactly as Mr Lambert said it would and the pain disapatted almost instantly. The care in the hospital was first class, nursing staff very caring and considerate and the aftercare under Mr Lamberts supervision was also first class. I cannot recommend Mr Lambert and his team highly enough, he has changed my life and one year on, there hasn't been any setbacks and the shoulder is pain free and the strength is improving on a daily basis.

I recently had surgery to repair a torn tendon and rotator cuff. Mr Lambert is the kindest, most patient surgeon that i have ever met. He listens to all the patient's concerns, however small and always ensures that you have understood the procedures. His manner is wonderful. The surgery has been a total success and I am now undergoing physio at the Spires which is also excellent.

Profile

I am a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a special interest in the shoulder and elbow. I also hold an honorary academic appointment within University College London. Having worked at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (RNOH), a specialist orthopaedic hospital, where I created a research-active, educationally-acclaimed, science-based service, integrated with and recognising the extreme importance of expert rehabilitation, I have now moved to University College London Hospital. We enjoy a national reputation for clinical excellence and clinical research, which I fully expect to contribute to over the next decade. We value our national and international collaborations, and expect to develop these further with the evolution of the service. As a component of this effort my work with the AO has offered opportunities to younger colleagues while bringing the values of the AO to a wide variety of surgeons and therapists. Truly international collaboration and exchange of ideas clearly enhances and promotes the efficacy of patient-directed care and forms the basis for the motivation behind my development of the shoulder and elbow service at UCLH.
